@hdmi - you seem pretty experienced...any thoughts on how I might fix my issue of no "Sign Out" or Account Switching?
I forgot to mention in my prior post that this problem only occurs if I use the Win10 style Start Menu with EP. If I leave everything the same and change EP Start Menu setting...
Looks like Valinet just released version 64.1 and the invisible taskbar problem has been fixed. Works fine for me except for my broken Accounts/Sign Out menu, but that appears to be just me?
Thanks for confirming that it seems to be just me. I wonder how I can fix it on my system. I've tried reset to default, uninstall, reboot and been even running sfc /scannow and finding no problems....
@Slavic @Stormbrain - the Win11 KB5035853 ( Winver .3296 ) just arrived on my system and I'm still using the 63.2 official release rather than pre-release version and I can confirm the taskbar is present, but the background/colour is transparent now. So it's still there and usable, but has a...
This problem has resurfaced for me when using the Windows 10 style Start Menu. Clicking my Profile icon doesn't bring up the option to sign out/switch accounts. Works fine if I set EP to use Win11 Start Menu. Have uninstalled, rebooted, run sfc /scannow to be safe, and reinstall EP official...
Interesting hack. I guess this is a good indicator that many people experience this issue. Why doesn’t Microsoft fix this in some other way? They must know it’s a problem? We’ve been using Skype for 10 years+ (before Microsoft bought it). Previously it never had this problem, but it emerged...
This issue has been happening for several years now to me and on every single Windows 10/11 computer in our business. I don’t run any kind of special group policies or configurations. These are all just a group of basic/vanilla Windows 10 / 11 Pro installations with very basic software sets (all...
I wasn't going to mention that, but yes, the iPhone Tethering thing is one of the many things that I commonly have to jump into that page so I don't start sending all my data out through my mobile phone....
That seems different than what I'm talking about though - the more "More Adapter Options" just brings up the adapter properties, whereas the link in my OP takes you to Network connections panel where you can see all adapters. A page I use frequently as I try to manage/enable/configure/test all...
@Ghot it's even stranger that you still have access to it....I just spun up a virtual machine and it was there and then as soon as I applied the October cumulative update it disappeared...so I'm guessing Microsoft stripped it out. Windows 11 really has been an awful affair from a UX perspective...
Can anyone else here confirm if Microsoft removed the More network adapter options from Related Settings in the Network & internet > Advanced network settings window?
I used this all the darn time and I can't see it anymore. Microsoft has been trying to hide the old Control Panel\Network and...
