  1. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

Well, not sure what happened but the computer goes to sleep consistently so I will leave this for now, hopefully it will remain this way.
  2. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

Last night it went to sleep so I will give it another night to see if it continues to go to sleep and update back. The only difference is that more apps were running in the background (doing nothing but were running).
  3. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

I meant to ask what do you mean by "in-pace upgrade"? :) Not sure I understand in what way a new power plan is different than the one I already have.
  4. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

What do you mean by that? I set my computer to sleep manually and it did and didn't wake up until I woke it up. I thought it might give me a clue but it didn't. The current power plan is set exactly as I wanted :) Btw, the only thing that is running is Edge.
  5. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

I ran it before If the mouse/keyboard were the problem then my monitor would stay awake as well, that is what happened in the past. That's what confuses me.
  6. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

Thanks, I ran the commands and got the following. I must add that the computer is not waking up because of "something", it is never going to sleep to begin with. The only 2 things I see here are the keyboard and the mouse which are not "jumping" without touching them, because when I do move...
  7. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

Thank you for replying. I didn't install anything lately except for cumulative updates and other updates of windows itself so not sure where should I "go back" to. When I had this issue in the past (a problematic mouse that kept "jumping" even without touching it), both the monitor and computer...
  8. Monitor goes to sleep but computer isn't

Hi, The monitor is set to sleep after 45 idle minutes and the computer is set to sleep after 60 idle minutes. While the monitor goes to sleep, the computer isn't. In this window, I set everything as explained. Actually, nothing changed when it suddenly started but the computer still fails to...
  9. Sleep mode issue

Hibernate off and restart didn't help :(
  10. Sleep mode issue

That was fast. After doing the above I went away for more than 2 hours, I came back and the monitor was awake :(
  11. Sleep mode issue

Done powercfg -h off. Will update, thanks!
  12. Sleep mode issue

Based on the help from someone else here in the forum, it seems that something prevents it from sleeping and not that something wakes it up. There are commands that show what wakes the computer up, but no commands to show what prevents it from sleeping.
  13. Sleep mode issue

On my computer it is set to 60 minutes (monitor) and 120 minutes (computer), because the monitor didn't go to sleep, obviously the computer is awake as well. I updated the display drivers but to no avail. Because of the inconsistency. I don't know what is causing it.
  14. Sleep mode issue

I checked for drivers, I even updated the display driver but still. Sometimes it doesn't go to sleep during the night and sometimes during the day (when I go out), inconsistency all the way.
