    After doing a reinstall of Win11 I now finally have got my start button working as it should. Mystery remains as to why it threw a wobbly in the first place.

    Tried above just the same no evidence of Skype except the 3 screens. Have run 2 lots of malware software neither found anything. Due to the fact I still have the problem of the start menu does not still not working I will do a complete fresh install of Win11

    Lokked in both again no reference to Sype in any form or shape. If I do a reboot as soon as system is up the 3 screens pop up after about 20 seconds about a couple of seconds between screens.

    Yes nothing showing in apps or programs. Attached are 3 screenshots of what I am getting , first screen starts after say 20 - 30 seconds after pc has rebooted quickly followed by next 2 screens, which obviously last one is login screen.

    Services has no reference to Skype. Installed REVO and again no reference to Skype found.

    Just as an addition got a damned annoying Skype startup problem. I deleted Skype, or thought I did but it still pops up with a screen full of rubbish each time I start pc. Going to settings>apps it does not show Skype. Going to task manager>startup apps it shows Skype(20) with status enabled and...

    Now going from bad to worse. I thought as problem only started a few days back I would remove recent Win11 updates, namely KB5042099 and KB 5041585. Told it to stop updates for the max 5 weeks. Uninstalled both then rebooted. It ignored the 5 week thing and found both updates still present. So...
