If only there was an easy way to remove NVMe drives without dismantling the PC!
Was much easier when we only had SATA to worry about, now it's normally a case of removing the GPU to take the drives out!
The issue isn't solved!
The apps were crashing on closing, I re-installed Office using the offline installer and got back into Beta channel, they were still crashing on exit so I signed out of Office to see if that helped. Apps didn't crash with the non-beta version
It was THEN I couldn't sign...
The error I got in Office was related to Javascript not being enabled, but I've never disabled it anywhere.
I'm not going to logout of Office to recreate the error message, I had to use a recovery image to get my signed-in Office back
It's been doing this for ages. I got Windows to suppress the audit success with this command (run Powershell/Terminal as Admin):
Auditpol /set /subcategory:"User Account Management" /success:disable
That would make sense - I first saw the error today with the Beta from April 8th, before the update today.
Version mismatch was the error I've seen in event log
I've never made any changes to the java settings.
As I said I can use the M365 apps but they crash if I close any of them
The Java issue only occurs if I try to log back into Office after logging out of my account
Closing the Office apps using task manager doesn't cause a crash error
You mean Office 365? Which subscription do you use, I'm on Family Classic.
The other pc is using one of my six share accounts and is also crashing the same
Well I tried to sign out of Office, then sign back in. Guess what? Java script is disabled so can't sign in!
Luckily I had a Macrium image backup taken before I tried re-installing Office
