  1. Remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program

Yes, and that's what I really appreciate. Thank you!
  2. Remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program

Many thanks! Very surprising, another one had that issue. OK, I will try that (if need be) after using wiganken's great script the next time the issue occurrs again. But the stuck items here are not clickable, when I try to click them the program on top is clickt somewhere.
  3. Remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program

Yes, that is right. So the symton is gone at the moment, it sometime will come back. Like it did in the past, I guess, 5 or 10 years, maybe since Win 7 or so. Sometimes the leftover disappears when closing the program (every program might cause it, I believe, it is not a special one) somehow...
  4. Remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program

Thank you very much! I had to reboot, so now the remnant is gone. So when I have the same problem the next time I just would click the bat twice and then I would post a result of a scan / check or so? Or does the bat change anything in the system / on a drive? Many thanks again!
  5. Remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program

Thank you! So here is the desktop: Clicked on the (black) ground and pressed F5, the remnant is still there.
  6. Remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program

No, I didn't. Pressing F5 refreshes some programs / pages with me. Not the screen I would think. How (else) could one refresh the screen?
  7. Remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program

Occasionally, remnants/parts of programs remain visible on the screen after closing the program, which I cannot get rid of except by restarting the computer: The remnant is ALWAYS above every window, so ALWAYS visible. How could I remove it without rebooting?
  8. Personalization Add "Turn off display" Context Menu in Windows 11

I will do so, thank you! It is about 1½ years old, running every day for about 16 hours, yes, maybe it is time to do that, thank you. I once (or more than once) used a vacuum cleaner (to avoid taking apart the Notebook) to try to suck (at least a little) dust from the backside of the Notebook...

But then the Notebook display keeps turned off after turning off the TV, doesn't it? And one has to turn it on manually each time? Many thanks for the links, then I'll try out a few different settings regarding upscaling, seeing what is possible with this CPU. I even didn't know it is a...
  10. Personalization Add "Turn off display" Context Menu in Windows 11

This is already set / shown when the TV is running. When the TV is not running this is set (duplicate): And how is this noticeable to the viewer? By isn't perfectly smooth you mean there is a (visible) jerking / stuttering? I do not have here any jerking, so I would think Kodi runs very...
  11. Personalization Add "Turn off display" Context Menu in Windows 11

Nono, this Notebook display and the ones I had before turn on automatically when the TV is turned off (with the sound being interrupted shortly). For the TV I just have chosen the second monitor (for the Notebook I have duplicate (or whatever it is called). In what way(s)? I mostly watch 480p...
  12. Personalization Add "Turn off display" Context Menu in Windows 11

And the Notebook display turns on as well, I guess (or does it stay dark?). Yes, the exact behavior here, I would say. When a movie (shown on TV display, a primitive rubbish LG 3D-Plasma-TV 50PM470S 127) is running there is no problem (besides of that the Notebook is kind of freezing and such...
  13. Personalization Add "Turn off display" Context Menu in Windows 11

After having assigned the option "Turn off display" (or so) in the energy saving plan? Or with that "save energy" option / key (after having assigned the option "Turn off display" in the energy saving plan to that key / item)? I guess, the same will happen as if I turn off the display otherwise...
  14. Personalization Add "Turn off display" Context Menu in Windows 11

The TV always (connected to the Pioneer VSX-830-K, not to the Notebook) is turned off / in standby when the music is output the Pioneer VSX-830-K. I have an extremely primitive (actually completely rubbish) Lenovo IdeaPad 3 17ABA7 (one HDMI socket). The USB-C socket is used by a USB hub with 4...
