Yes, I’ve had to revert to that occasionally. It looks like I’ve got install.inf working, it’s just a nuisance to edit it for schemes uploaded with the .crs files. It would seem that there’s no suggestions here yet. I may ask on TenForums.

Update: Yep, "%10%" missing on the link select. My install.ini now working. I'd still like to use the *.crs method, if only for a simple application of RW Cursor uploads.
