I did end up changing the second router's wifi security to WPA/WPA2 with TKIP+AES. Which resulted in all apps working. Disney+ now works 50% of the time, but I can live with that.

You could also try 'incognito mode', which doesn't use any added add-on extensions by default.
Using an ad-blocker can also sometimes break sites. If you have one, try disabling it on that site too.
