  1. Insider KB5054148 Windows 11 Insider Dev build 26200.5510 (24H2) - March 24

maybe because this betanews article incorrectly reports of build 26200.5510 as 25H2 when it actually still reports 24H2 instead
  2. Let's install Windows 11 on incompatible hardware

definitely not, GotNoRice. creator of the Rufus app said it best on his FAQ: https://github.com/pbatard/rufus/wiki/FAQ#user-content-This_PC_doesnt_currenty_meet_Windows_11_system_requirements try replacing that old AMD Phenom X4 9750 with an AMD FX processor if you have a Socket AM3+...
  3. Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.9780.1

I have no such sound issues with the 6.0.9780.1 audio driver version on a Gigabyte desktop motherboard when I installed 6.0.9780.1 from the Microsoft Update Catalog site (released earlier this February 2025). mp3/mp4 files play fine on my end, even in the latest version of VLC player though...
  4. Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.9780.1

seems like the OP is not the only person having some audio driver issues with the Realtek audio 6.0.9780.1 driver from Asus.
  5. Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.9780.1

downgrade or rollback the Realtek audio driver to an older version and block/disable Asus assistant from updating the audio driver (adjust that app to disable updates). either use Device Manager to rollback the driver to an older version or completely uninstall the 6.0.9780.1 version, reboot...

  10. Realtek Audio Driver v6.0.9754.1

that one is not really relevant to the OP since the OP is using an Asus motherboard and the previously available 6.0.9757.1 driver from MSI is for most recent MSI motherboards only and is not applicable & can't be installed to Asus motherboards (unless Asus themselves have a 6.0.9757.1 driver...
  11. Realtek Audio 24H2 Drivers Dilemma

I lean towards what spapakons said as there's no serious need to update the Realtek audio software components from Microsoft Update Catalog. also the previous 6.0.9689.1 Realtek audio driver is no longer available from the Gigabyte web site as it was replaced by the 6.0.9733.1 driver version in...
