Took about 8 total hours to get everything installed, all the settings working, (almost) everything up and running. Seems like everything is working great. Kinda wish we could have gotten to the bottom of what was truly causing those errors but at least the issue is solved by doing it the old...

I've fully installed Windows 11 Pro and most of my programs, scripts, and have nearly everything setup again (after about 5 hours). Will report in a few days if any issues happen again. I doubt it, but we'll see.

The cloned drive with windows is an NVME and will be a pain to take out. You think I can just disable the drive in the BIOS or something?

I did not unhook other drives - which was a mistake on my part. However, I do see an asterisk there next to the drive, so it is GPT. I do not see that EFI partition on other drives. The only other drive with an EFI partition is my cloned windows OS drive from my previous Windows 11.

Perhaps I'm also feeling a little sunk cost fallacy at the moment as well, because I would have definitely had all of my programs and settings up by now with the amount of time I've dedicated to solving this and getting help regarding solving this. I was really hoping that I wouldn't need to...

I currently have my OS drive cloned to another SSD. Is it possible to just transfer those programs, scripts and applications, settings over to my new OS drive after doing a fresh Windows 11 install? There's a lot of files and scripts for programs in my roaming folder that I'd rather not hunt...

Well, it will definitely take a lot longer than 20 minutes lol. I have a lot of annoying stuff and settings I need to change, but I have moved closer and closer to doing that after a couple of days of failed troubleshooting.

You're right. I should have done a clean install but I think I was in the same predicament at the time as I currently am now (just without the issues). Windows functions perfectly fine, outside of when I attempt to enable Secure Boot, so it was never an issue until now...

I understand and this solution does work, as I've tried it before. However, the frustrating thing is that I'll have to reconfigure my settings and set up all my applications and programs again?

Is there any way I can see if this driver is being used in task manager or anything? I don't see the name of it listed and when I used WDV it said the driver was already being shown but I did not see it. I can make a video if that would help.

Are you sure this won't brick my system? I'm pretty sure I did attempt to rename it a few days ago and then my PC failed to boot all together

I cannot uninstall the newest one as I have an AMD motherboard and it's incompatible with RST, so the download never even starts. I do not see it listed in programs & features
