This CU sounds like a hard pass for now given I've not seen this many problem reports for ages!
Glad I've still got WUMT to do this and avoid the headaches you're all having
Thanks again for the UUDUMP instruction - holy smokes it took a LONG time to build the image.
Same problem with Rufus when trying to create a bootable USB drive as the MCT ISO (pic attached):
I previously created an ISO (23H2), Rufus reports that it could contain malware and should not be used.
Today the tool fails no matter what you try to do with the 23H2 version - tried MCT default, Auto-ISO/USB.
Always fails
Hard pass after the last 'preview' that botched my system - thankfully I've gotten into the habit of creating a pre-emptive macrium image before any non-defender udpate lately.
Are updates like this really necessary to install for someone who uses the PC for general web browsing, youtube videos and a lot of gaming?
I mean, for gaming I mainly use Steam, which generally installs runtime stuff that a game needs, similar to other gaming apps (EA Games, Ubisoft Connect etc.)

Does anyone know if it's possible to reinstall it, or if the removal of this functionality runs much deeper into the OS?
I'm still annoyed (and...
I know an old thread, but I've been having a lot of BSOD while gaming, so this problem is now impacting the use of my computer.
There's nothing in the minidump that would indicate problems with drivers or hardware.
Disgusting that this is still not resolved.
23H2 OS Build 22631.3447
Oh, and I'm...
No idea what app this refers to, but cannot resolve by resetting Microsoft Store
What is the package:

Hoping that Microsoft will notice that WMR software is installed on device and give those users fair warning that updating to 24H2 will make their devices destined for the landfill.
If Microsoft are unlikely to give users of WMR devices advanced notice that certain updates will remove all WMR...
