I have the native HEIC extension installed, but in Photos app, it doesn't let me browse freely within the folder. I have to click on every single photo individually to view them. Using 3ʳᵈ party apps like Photo Mechanic Plus - I can't view any HEIC files at all. Using HEIC Viewer X - it takes...

Already checked default browser is Chrome but when clicking on links in other apps, it does not open automatically in Chrome and I have to manually paste it over. Any registry edit I can use to fix it?

this is a nightmare.. I used their registry script to restore to default, but pressing Win+E now brings up command prompt instead of File Explorer. Can anyone help to restore it back to usual behavior?

As mentioned after deleting it, pressing win+e still tries to open Q-Dir instead of the default explorer.

I'm using the portable version of Q-Dir and there's no proper uninstallation mechanism. I tried removing the folder manually, but when using Win+E, the default file explorer doesn't come up. How do I restore this?

This type of file selection dialog is quite common in various apps, which doesn't allow me to type in the file directory directly. Is there any workaround so that it will always display an address bar?
