That works, thanks. The .jxr image looks OK at first glance as I can see a flash from too bright to normal until I try using it, then the light bloom occurs again. The .png image is excellent and I can create another screenshot for cropping and pasting. Windows key and G to pull up the Windows...
LOTS of BSOD errors with this build as well. NDIS.SYS which is a network adapter failure. I reloaded the driver back to Intel's version rather than MS version. Hopefully, it helps.
Interesting that I now have TWO instances where I have seen an update of Win 11 causing changes to the BIOS. Yes, the BIOS. ASUS BIOS and on two different mobos. My friend who has my previous mobo and CPU had his update change his boot drive to nothing so it didn't boot. This update changed my...
I leave my computer running 24/7 for a Plex server. I have noticed three times now that when I wake up in the morning or when the computer is idle for a few hours the computer is completely shut down. Never happened before this build. I wonder what it is?
Multiple DEV versions going back 6 months? Took me a while to figure out what the problem was.
I wonder if anyone has come up with a way to capture a screenshot in a game or on Chrome with Windows 11 HDR on without there being a massive oversaturated light bloom making the image way too bright...
Too funny. I finally was able to buy an ASUS TUF RTX 4090 OC graphics card at MSRP and it arrived today. I went to install it and saw that my computer was automatically doing this upgrade! Fortunately, the install was almost finished and I was able to get my new card running. Came up in 6-point...
DANG! I think I will FINALLY beat Brink to finish the install first! Already installing at 40%. I just happened to click on Check for Updates at 1PM EST on the dot. I will edit when I finish (hopefully before Brink, heh)
And Done! 48 minutes to the desktop. 20 minutes installing and 20 after the...
Time was about 40 minutes for me. Here is my timeline 2:08 started download. 2:12 download done, started install. 2:33 install done and did restart. 2:47 desktop. Usually, the restart to the desktop is about half that time.
The entire installation was done last night by itself. I woke the computer up to see the latest build on the desktop. Startallback did not automatically, err, start so I had to download the latest version and run it successfully. The Win 11 taskbar seems to be getting stranger-looking every time...
Quick to desktop after the restart. StartAll Back threw in an update just as the screen went blank so might want to update BEFORE restarting to version 3.5.6
The search icon is now part of my taskbar by default. Easy enough to remove.
