  1. Sound : Popping sound when audio begins

I see lots of folks have suggested Realtek drivers. It may be that Lenovo bundled the realtek driver in with your mainboard drivers - I would have no idea. Sorry. First, take an image of your ssd. Second, you might go the the Realtek site and see if they offer a driver for you. Or something...
  2. Sound : Popping sound when audio begins

Computer or laptop? (I like Lenovo) Check and update realtek driver/software.(from Realtek if not Lenovo)
  3. Sound : Popping sound when audio begins

    ASUS mobo?
  4. Solved File Explorer very slow - always "working on it"

Yeah but being bald is so much easier to care for and often looks much better. Congrats on good catch!
  5. Solved Thoughts on spasmodic mice...

I retired my wired "wireless" Corsair mouse because of double clicks, put my Logitech M510 back into play but it seemed iff-y as it had before, so looked at amazon and ordered a 9$ Technet mouse cause it looked nice. Got it but it soon exhibited pauses in motion. Unplugged dongle from USB 4-way...
  6. Slooowww Boot - All Typical Fixes Done

Uh. HP Spectre x360 from 2017 I don't think 30 sec from boot logo to win login is all that bad. Remember, you don't have an NVMe and DDR5 in there. I had difficulty finding the specs on it but it looked like a 256GB SSD. SO I would update that SSD to a faster one, and a bigger one if needed...
  7. Brave browser vs Firefox behavior

I use FF. Been using it for years. No problems.
  8. Do you do Windows Update?

I use WuMgr. Been using it for years. Update when I want to - ie after I have imaged my system!

    Uninstall iCue for a bit.
  10. 24H2 Good things, weird things...

check for latest BIOS (for Intel microcode 29b or whatever.)
  11. Moving to the "Cloud" for storage and backups?

The "cloud" is simply other people's storage. If you are interested in security, back it up yourself. Don't give it away. I back up both to an internal NVMe, and via USB SSK brand adapter to an external NVMe. I use Terabyte Image for Windows because it is fast, and because it correctly handles...
  12. windows 11 file explorer opening in center of screen

If you have an explorer window open when you reboot, you will get unpredictable results the next time you open WE.
  13. windows 11 file explorer opening in center of screen

WE opens how and where you last left it. Open it. reposition and resize it. Close it. Open it to check.
  14. Best laptop network card

I suggest removing, cleaning and re-seating the card. Also unclip and re-clip the 2 antennas, one at a time. Also verify you have the latest wifi driver from Lenovo. EDIT also try 5Ghz I see 210's on ebay with the same M.2 keying. No idea if they would work.
  15. upgrading my Monitor

Quite simply, you will have to try things out. Only buy from places where you can easily return. You won't really know if you like a monitor until you have used it for a few hours.
