When you sorted files by date in an Explorer window (or a File>Open dialog, etc) in earlier versions of Windows, the folders always stuck to the top. Is it possible to get Win 11 to use that behavior?

Thanks. I actually ran across Stack Social from another direction and saw that. Again, I'd really prefer the vintage interface. The 2007+ interface is really a travesty. Perhaps I need to give in to the travesty. But that noted... why is having the purchase "connected" to my "MS Account" better...
