I hear you Miguel. I can get used to it. My first workaround was to create desktop icons for any features I need and put them at the top, but that, of course, creates it's own rigmarole like whenever the display settings change. Maybe I'll write a mini-app that's just a tray of launch...

My intent was to suggest to Microsoft that they always:
"Enable text selection and copying in system dialog boxes, such as the one displayed by the 'winver' command."
Is that not an obvious thing to do?!?!
I do not think it is an issue per say. It is just the way it is designed. I'm guessing that if there is micomovement in the mouse (wired mouse in my case), it triggers the "move" function which deselects the selection, but then only "moves" the image less than a pixel, so it is not obvious...
Having just been surreptitiously "upgraded" to Windows 11, by Windows 10, I decided to go ahead and take the hit now and migrate. After a bit of research, I can see that not being able to move the taskbar is a well known "issue", and that Microsoft has claimed the animations were too...
