No worries. I still would like to find a solution, but haven't found one yet. Microsoft really outdid themselves this time with their legendary stupidity.
It seems Windows 24H2 is totally ignoring that key, because it keeps forcibly enabling that stupid "automatically manage color for apps" despite the key being set to 0.
Anybody had any success disabling it in Windows 24H2?
I tried that, but in Windows 24H2 it is totally ignoring that key, because it keeps forcibly enabling that stupid "automatically manage color for apps" despite the key being set to 0.
Each time I switch the color bit depth of my displays from 8bpc to 12bpc Windows forces "Automatically manage color for apps" to On, which makes colors bad.
I have to switch from 8bpc to 12bpc all the time because my projector's 3D mode only works in 8bpc, but I use 12bpc for all the rest...
If like me you hate the cumbersome Windows 11 Alt+Tab and the Win+Tab pile just try AltAppSwitcher, a Classic / Mac style app switcher that works on Windows 11 24H2.

because the Regedit trick to bring back the Windows classic Alt+Tab stopped working in...
Thanks to all for your answers. Much to study and test here.
To give an example: I have a pretty good symmetric connection:
Just yesterday, I downloaded a 30GB file in 10 minutes using JDownloader and then uploaded it to one of my Google Drive shared folders. My Google account currently has...
Is there a good alternative for Google Drive for Desktop with the same functionality (synching to your google account's gdrive online, integration with Windows Explorer context menus, sharing links to "Anyone with the link", ... but also displays transfer speeds and has better UI?

This is the dark theme I am using now: https://www.deviantart.com/dpcdpc11/art/Simplify-11-Vanilla-Windows-11-Themes-8-in-1-898840048
I asked the author about this and he pointed me to this old post: Cool Windows 11 center title bar DWM effect.
Which uses WinCenterTitle from Valinet (same guy...
Yep, haven't seen any decent looking WindowBlinds theme...
That's not my theme, it was just an example made in photoshop I took from somebody else.
I tried that, but no luck... Windows 11 doesn't give a flying duck about the CONTENTALIGNMENT property. It just ignores it.
Is it possible in Windows 11 to center the Titlebars and/or Menubars texts like this?
Why in 2024 we don't have an option for this and are still being forced to look to left edge of the display all the time? 🤦🏻
I found out it was due to (stupid) me doing a 'Take Ownership' of the whole Windows\SystemResources folder to be able to modify icons and colors from shell32.dll.mun and zipfldr.dll.mun.
I already found out a less invasive way running Total Commander as a TrustedInstaller via WinaeroTweaker, so...
