Thanks to all your help. I created a boot disk and it recognized it. OK. I want to install ubuntu on my new Acer laptop with Windows 11S. I've created the USB boot disk and tried both MBR and GPT. with no luck. When I try to boot, it just comes up with the ACER splash screen and sits there...

There is no usb option in boot priority order. Only windows boot manager. It was there, but it disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. Acer Aspire AG15-31P, BIOS Version V1.05
