    This was already covered in previous steps in this thread - it's not the solution. It's disabled, but when I press Print Screen key, the snipping tool bar still takes over, it just doesn't do anything now.

    So just installed powertoys for win11. and remapped WIN(Left) to Print Screen, and sure enough it opens my 3rd party app (greenshot). but so does the left windows key now -- so the OS is hijacking the keyboard print screen button and sending it to snipping tool installed or not, and temp mapping...

    Having the exact same issue, did you ever find a resolution for this? It's absolutely infuriating. The OS button to disable snipping tool does nothing, on or off same effect. GPO did nothing, reg dword did nothing. Uninstall the entire package with powershell and reboot -- nothing. It won't take...
