Based on this post by X user Bob Pony, Microsoft started releasing official Windows 11 24H2 ISOs, just days after the evaluation ISOs (the links are different).
At this point, Windows 11 24H2 could be released the next patch Tuesday or with the optional preview update at the end of October...
And as always, the new features are available first on 23H2 and then on 24H2.
I really don't know why they are doing this, and I also don't understand this logic, based on the fact that 23H2 is not only an old version, but it's based on 22H2.
Bah!
I am on build 21600.1591
And the fact that the Widget board opens automatically I think it's a bug, because at soon as I logon on the system the board opens without me passing the cursor on the button.
Anyway, about the stutters that I notice sometimes, I think it's more related to third-party...
It's almost 2 months that I upgraded from 23H2 to 24H2 using the in-place upgrade via the WIP ISO and yes, 24H2 it's very stable for me (I only two or three BSOD related to third-party drivers)but, after a few hours from booting up, the system starts having stutters and freezes (in some moments...
I also received it via Windows Update.
I was on 23H2, then I upgraded to 24H2 26100.1150 via ISO and then Windows Update immediately found the update to .1301 build.
Changes and Improvements
[File Explorer]
We’re rolling out the ability to duplicate a tab by right-clicking on a tab in File Explorer.
And even in this build, there is something almost ready for stable channel 23H2, while who is on 24H2 has to wait.
Microsoft being Microsoft...
I bet $100 that 24H2 version will drop the same day the support for 22H2 ends for Home and Pro SKUs.
Yeah, it's very stable because it's based on 22H2 version at the end. 24H2 is another story.
Just for curiosity, who enables the toggle to get the latest features as soon as possible gets 24H2 builds, while who doesn't enable the toggle gets 23H2 builds, is that correct?
With the Beta build based on 23H2 and the RP based on 24H2 it seems that these new addictions are only being tested on 23H2. I don't understand if these features are already available in those on 24H2 or are being tested on 23H2 and then they will released (if) when 24H2 will become GA also for...
On Windows 11 23H2 I have this driver installed (1168.11.1206.2022); on 24H2 one thing I noticed was that device manager showed an unkwnown device, but after a few hours I rolled back to 23H2 because I had associated the BSOD to Malwarebytes, while in reality it was Realtek's fault. And so...
I tried to upgrade from 23H2 to 24H2 RP 26100.1000, but I had to rollback because of a BSOD caused by a Realtek driver (rtf64x64.sys) and I noticed some stutters (from the same driver, maybe).
Hopefully something will change in the coming weeks.
Sorry to write this as my second post, but I'd like to present myself.

Hi,
I want to update my only PC to 24H2 as it has many improvements over 22H2 and 23H2.
24H2 has already been available for ARM systems, and it's in RP for x64 systems.
I'd like to know if it's stable enough to install on a production machine, but my worry is the drivers compatibility...
