I am guessing that my unsupported Laptop running Windows 11 22H2 will update to 23H2 without a problem. As MS has done with Windows 10 the new features will be installed during normal updates and then enabled when ready. We shall see in October.
On Feb 9 posted a thread where I updated to Windows 11 on my unsupported Laptop.
It has been doing great so I decided to upgrade my unsupported PC to Windows 11.
It is an older ASUS PC I built and it did not go well.
Dism scan said it was Repairable and it look half done.
I did a Dism Restore...
I have been looking at going uncompressed as I have 2TB usb drives for backup and plenty of free space. Have you tried an uncompressed restore to see if it is also faster. I would think it would be but have not tried it jet.

I have a program that I use to Install Windows 7 games. It worked on Windows 8, 8.1,10 and now on W11
I used an older version but here is an updated version of the program.
Windows 7 Games for Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 8.

I have an old Lenovo Laptop from 2013. It does not meet the requirements for Windows 11.
It has an AMD A10-5750M CPU and no TPU. It was running Windows 10 Pro 22H2 with latest build.
I replaced the appraiserres.dll with a blank version. Uploaded the Windows 11 ISO and did a repair install.
