ok. I also replied to some of your findings above.
  2. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

Until Saturday afternoon, this caused no problems to go to sleep. In spite of all "update your driver to latest" advice, my default audio drivers are too quiet and I can't make out jack on videos unless I am amping the volume past 50-60%! I have used this for month w/o issues of going to sleep...
  3. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

Hi, I set this up very late on Sunday because nothing was working to bring PC from sleep to wake (see my discussions with glasskutter).
  4. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

So, this asked me to create restore point before fiddling with anything else, so there's a restore point also now.
  5. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

I had to record a game footage 2 -3 weeks ago to show something about a mod's behaviour in a forum. Other than that, I haadn't used it in past. I haven't used it since then. I will do all this later because I have to find the installer for that realtek thing in first place. EDIT: fxsound was...

  7. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

Ran all the scripts from posts number 9 and 12. Also collected event viewer logs also. See attached files. If I missed anything, apologies. Please let me know and I will share those also. thanks, surio.
  8. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

Yes sir, I would say those would be consistent with the timeline of my issues with abrupt restarts (that thread was opened on 17-Oct, exactly 30 days ago, yesterday).
  9. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

There was no actual BSOD. I would have seen it and remember it. There's no false pride is hiding such critical info. if this is a "bsod level" or "bsod like critical" I am unable to account for it. Well there is this one thing. when I "restarted the machine via OS button" after making changes...
  10. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

I think I can account for them. Saturday morning abrupt restart consistent with this issue we have discussed before. Soon after, I called my PC guy to book a slot in afternoon to bring my machine and install new SMPS. all day yesterday was just making changes suggested by people and testing...
  11. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

OH! Sorry, I didn't realise you wanted those also now. Thought you wanted them later. Thanks for your patience. "file size too big to attach" error. So, here's a link to the same. Let me know if it doesn't allow you to download. thanks.
  12. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

Those would be when sleep didn't recover and I had to press the power off button yesterday while troubleshooting people's suggestions. edit: what a jagoff OS. It won't recover from sleep but sanctimoniously record an error message when ppl have to resort to such measures to recover! passive...
  13. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

Here's reliability report for today, uploaded as a baseline for future review/comparison. if you find anything odd, let me know so I may be able to take corrective actions.
  14. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

Thanks for linking to the right place. I have requested.
  15. Windows can be made to "sleep" but won't "wake up" on keyboard/mouse interactions

no please, wouldn't it be more convenient for everyone on this forums, if you simply uploaded the zip to this forum where ppl already have credentials rather than insisting we make new, secure credentials to an OS forum that that's soon going EOL (but actually works well for over a decade for...
