Got quick launch back. Until you mentioned console I didn't realise the properties setting was other than a dispay window. I changed toolbar settings to windows 10 Explorer Patch and now up and running. Many thanks for all your help.

I have installed and un installed 6 or 7 ep so from different websites. What's the console? Isn't t hat what I posted above?

Thanks for your support here. I ran the instructions in powershell to add exclusions at least I think I did I didn't get any message that it did or didn't run. After uninstalling and reinstalling I still get the same as before. Annoying because I had this working a couple of weeks back.

Still no new toolbar setting in right click on task bar in fact I only get task manager and task bar settings now.

Before I got the above I changed the password to blank and now it seems to boot OK to the desktop. Many thanks.
