I think that is showing on emails with a list-unsubscribe header rather than randomly.

But if you don't click unsubscribe, they will continue to send to that address anyway; at least unsubscribing gives a chance of being removed, and from my experience, most of them do.

Banning sales is pointless; no under 16 kid is buying a new phone themselves, and if they did want to buy one, they would buy one second-hand from a friend or a dodgy shop. Banning stuff is pointless when the ways around it are so simple.

That's just a nonsense discussion to find a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist.
