Hello All,
I am running windows 11 23H2.
It is my PC.
I share my PC with a family Member.
There are 2 accounts on the PC
both are Admin accounts.
I don't use a password to log into my account.
If I am using the PC and restart it.
it will boot up all the way to my desktop.
and Auto start any programs.
If the other family member uses the PC last and shuts it down
when I come to boot up the PC I am offered a choice
of which account I want to log into.
As I don't have a password
to my account I can just click on my account Picture
and the PC will login in to my account.
I would like the PC to always logged into my Account when switched on!
Can I use GPedit.msc or a Registry editor Edit
to make the PC always boot into my account regardless
of who used the PC last?

The Reason I would like to do this is:
So on a morning I can switch the PC on and go and make a coffee and
make some toast and by the time I get back
my PC has booted up and run all the Auto start program, and is ready for me to use
for that day.
TY for your thoughts!

IMO, this is a really bad plan.

How will the other person login if it always autologs in yourself?

Whilst you may fully trust the other person, they will always get direct access to your account and could inadvertently screw things up for you.

As an aside, having two admin users is not the best plan either as one could make changes that affects the other users.

It would be better to have one admin account and two standard users, only using the admin account when necessary.

You can sign out of My account without restarting the PC.
This drops you into a screen option for (Both accounts)
which account you want to sign into.
Just click on your account.
It does not Block the other account holder from logging into their own account!

Windows 11 must record somewhere probably in the
registry which account shut the PC down.
So when the PC is re-booted it will go back into the same account
that it was shut down from.
It must be easy to do this if you only know how???
I don't want to get off Topic and go off at a tangent But:
I expected criticism on my post B4 I wrote it. LOL.-)
The PC is imaged with Macrium Reflect every evening.
The other Family member needs Admin rights to conduct there work.
TY @RFS for suggestion "Autologon v3.10"
