Win 11 Pro 23H2
Well, I have lived with 24H2 for a while now and I have noticed a few things about it that I like, and a few things that are still a little weird/bad.

The good:

1. Overall, my system is a little faster. Confirmed with benchmarks.
2. My icons have stopped randomly moving around
3. The Win8 gadget pack works better. The gadgets have stopped moving around.
4. My system is stable, and I think it is more stable than 23H2. I have not had a blue screen since upgrading.

The weird:

1. The Explorer menu bug (opening upward all the time)
2. Older joystick drivers are giving my system the fits at times. (May just be an incompatible driver but that is the only one that Logitech has)
3. Networking issues, particularly file sharing between computers. Unnecessarily difficult to set up.
4. Periodic freezing of mouse and keyboard - necessitates a hard reboot. (Could be a failing motherboard USB port or driver issue - don't know yet)
5. Occasional reboot of system when at idle or sleeping. (Could be hardware, but started at the same time I upgraded.)

This is just based on my own experience. Overall, I am pretty happy with the new upgrade and I have every confidence that MS will eventually fix the bugs. Right now I don't seem to be suffering too much because of them.

If you have a thing you like, or a thing you think is weird, please post your thoughts. I am anxious to see what other people think. :-)

Love your avatar.
I use StartAllBack - might help your explorer probs.
Make sure you have all the latest drivers for your NIC from your mobo mfgr - that goes for chipset, BIOS, etc stuff from your mobo mfr.
The Z790 should not be problematic! Love 'em
Need latest BIOS for 13th gen cpu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate to say it but may need to get a different joystick. I love Logitech but may be too old in this case.
Mouse/kbd, wireless or wired. Use different cable, use different adapter, plug to different port. I use Logitech but have had problems w adapters though that was mostly on my old P15 laptop.
24H2, NOW, I actually like. I removed Edge and Copilot and added startallback but that is about it.
Should not spontaneously reboot unless maybe you have a wayward defrag program that is set to do that. builtin/default won't.

I hated the transition from my old Toshiba P870 with Win 7 to W11.
The fluff and bloat!!!!
But after 2 months of tweaking with more to come I can turn it into a tolerable system.
I had problems with intermittent black screens and lockups but it's been 2 weeks now and no issues so I think my diagnosis was correct.
The one and only problem I have left is that stupid missing Power-off button on the login screen, which is in the WAY-too-hard basket for everyone.
