Hello,

Until now, I was able to disable msedgewebview2.exe services running in the background so that they would never run again by using the widget.exe (winget uninstall "windows web experience pack") command. No matter what I did with this version, I could not disable it. Is there a solution to this, guys? I am sending the picture in attachment.

I don't want it to consume resources in the background unnecessarily. Debloating widget.exe doesn't work either. Thank you. :/

As far as I can see, even if I end them manually from the task manager, they work again as soon as I open the start menu.

Hi @erhanercan

Yes, those are tied in with the widgets, any Edge app & Edge itself + now co-pilot.
So unless you find a way to stop & disable all those, you are stuck with them.

msedgewebview2 is a runtime, like net.framework or visualc+, if an app needs it, it will run or the app will fail.

I understand I think I'd better not worry about these services :) Thank you.
