Adding text to pics

Hi There

I want to be able to text to the odd photo; although I don't know how now, I have done it in the past.

I am hoping it can be done without downloading another app, advice is welome

I use an HP laptop and an Android phone

My pics are in Google Photos

In Paint have the image open then click the A for text and you should get a dialog box to type in. Then move it as desired and save.

Top left, "File" >Open and choose the picture you want.

Or in File Explorer right-click an image file, choose Open with then choose the program desired.
