How do you add an additional Output device in Settings? In my old Windows 10 computer, I used an HDMI cord to connect my stereo receiver to it so that I could play my computer's music files through my stereo receiver. However, with my Windows 11 computer, I'm attempting to connect my stereo receiver to it via an HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter, but my Windows 11 computer is only showing my pair of computer speakers that I have hooked up to it, along with the speakers that are in my computer itself. Also, the only option that my computer is showing for another audio device is to "Pair a new output device." However, my stereo receiver is not a Bluetooth device, therefore, I cannot pair it. So, is there a way to connect my stereo receiver to my Windows 11 computer?

Did you try the standard 3.5mm audio line out? (3.5mm to RCA L/R) It should show up as your default audio out.

No. But I do have a pair of computer speakers hooked up through an AudioGenie enhancer device, which is connected by a USB cord. Although, that gives me the idea that maybe I can get an adapter for the HDMI cord coming out of my stereo receiver that will allow it to connect to a USB cord.

Amazon has the type of adapter that I mentioned. Therefore, if it works, I'll come back to the forum and let the forum know if this thread has been solved.
