Annoying sound played every time I press an alphabet if I have no desktop icon starting with that letter.

I use discord with press to talk settings. It is quite annoying that there is a feature that select the icons starting with the letter I press. It is even more annoying if there is no such icon and a sound is played. Is there a way to turn off this function or at lease mute the sound it make?

p.s. I've been googling about this for a while and I can't even find what is the name of the feature. And the only way I can think of is to create empty files naming from A-Z.
