Up until now I've had no problems with W11 that I could not fix, but suddenly one has come up for which cannot find a solution.
I have three monitors with No 3 being my main display and the desktop extended to the other two.
A few days ago I noticed that some icons were missing from the desktop on my main monitor and were displayed on monitor 2.
I moved those back to the main monitor, turned off Auto arrange and Align to Grid, and clicked Refresh.
Next day when I booted up the icons had drifted once again.
I tried disconnecting monitor 2 but the same thing happened.
I'd be grateful for any info.
