OS
Win 11
Operating system Win 11, Bluetooth adaptor V 5.0, Mobile Oppo A78 (Android 14).

I have been trying to connect my mobile to my PC using Bluetooth.
The Mobile and PC pair OK windows advised success and sates the mobile is connected.
When I check the mobile under system it shows connected then immediately changes to not connected.
I downloaded and installed the correct drive for the adaptor.

There is no problem connecting both via cable.

Can anyone suggest why they are not remaining connected?

It will connect when a app or action calls for it.
If you want full time connection, you need to install Phone Link.

Thank you Edwin,
I have Link to Windows running and my phone gets a message that it is connected to my PC.
Under Bluetooth & Devices my phone shows as connected but, I cannot see the phone in explorer to access any files.

You won't see the Phone in File Explorer unless it's connected via USB cable...

OK so I think my purpose of adding the Bluetooth Dongle is not going to work.
For File Explorer, correct! You can keep it enabled for Bluetooth transfers, and such, though...
