Am I getting Brave (brave.com) error cause I cancelled Dell Diag Recovery OS while was being created........and now have to insert these DNS values?

Any solution, without the DNS.......

Just leave the DNS settings alone, you got the DNS resolver error because it was unable to contact a DNS server in order to resolve the domain name for you. Please stop playing around with settings you don't seem to understand on a live system. If you want to mess around and experiment, then either create a backup which can reliably restore from or use a virtual machine.

It will do, you've manually set it to use the Google DNS servers. Just leave them be for now.

So there is no way, for it reach brave.com without inserting DNS values. Earlier I never required to insert them....would save time in performing a clean install. Even with a full backup restored, requires them.

Then simply allow DHCP to allocate a suitable DNS address for you by selecting the "Obtain DNS server address automatically" option. You shouldn't have to change those settings again though. I would suggest looking up what DNS does and what it means as well.

I just tried reaching brave.com using Chromium [not Google Chrome] on a different computer running Win10 and got to where I could download the installer but got a warning message. I've not had a problem yet with such issues.

Reverted back to earlier ISP, Brave is on without configuring IPV4 DNS manually.

Gave me peace of mind, thanks my W11 backup isn't corrupted, none needs for a clean install...it was a ISP error, had a feeling, but wanted to confirm. If it still persisted might have done a clean install.

Hey @Edwin , was able to record on VLC. When played on laptop, displayed recordings time, date etc., but they aren't showing when the recorded clip is run in VLC for Android.

Geez Louise! VLC still a power hog! Course, it is a 4K...,
... and that's on my 6GB of RAM phone, on my sh*tty tablet, it'll barely play!!!
