Brother Laser Printer Event ID 1002 Warning

I have a Brother DCP-L2500D laser printer / scanner connected via USB to my desktop PC. All works fine but for a long period I've been getting Event ID 1002 warnings as shown below. Reinstalling the latest driver did not fix it so I suspect a bug. Has anyone noticed this issue and fixed the problem? The multiple events all happen when I power on the PC.

I have a Brother Laser MFCL2710DW and am not getting those warnings in event viewer. I've had it for about a year.
I have had several firmware updates as well as software updates.
Event 1002 is related to an application. You might try completely uninstalling the printer software. Restart. Download and install the latest software package for your printer from Brother. Also make sure you have applied the latest firmware updates to the printer.

i have a Brother MLC-L3710CW multi function colour laser printer.
i dont install or use the Brother printer drivers for the above reason it seems to be the Brother monitor software which causes the errors.

i use the Windows drivers for the printer but i do install Brothers 'iPrint and Scan' software which doesn’t need the brother printer drivers to function.

If it only happens when you power on the machine, You might try a clean boot. A clean boot can help you to eliminate software conflict causing the issue. If it doesn't happen in a clean boot, you have some software conflicting with Windows. Brink's procedure will help you weed out which one. Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 11 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts Tutorial

If it still happens in clean boot, Brother has really good technical support so you might call them. But since everything is working and it's only a warning they might not help.

I already logged the issue with Brother but I doubt the they will fix their software for an older printer. I suspect they have recruited their software engineers from Microsoft.
