Camera HD User Face mirrored image. Any drivers for W11?
Can't find the setting to flip it. It's mirrored in the Camera app, Skype, Zoom, Discord. Updating the driver says the latest version installed but the date in the properties is 2006, and it looks like that one is for W10, not W11.

I don't suppose that the image looks odd to you because it isn't mirrored?
That means that the view displayed is like someone would see looking at you directly. If you raised your left hand, your image on the monitor would raise the hand on the right side of the monitor (which would be the left hand).

Windows 11 camera app itself doesn't have a mirror feature.
Some manufacturers like HP offer that feature but looking for a new MS driver is not the way to go.
As mentioned by
@bobkn , this is the way people would see you if you were in a conversation.

When I show some object with a text to a camera I see the word flipped. Should it be? Does this mean if I see text flipped on my screen the other person sees it right?
By the way, OBS is showing it right. I raise my right hand - my image on the screen raises his right hand.

If the text is flipped, I'd call that mirrored.
I checked my cheap Lenovo laptop. In the "Camera" app, the view is flipped. However, if I save a video, the image is not. I guess that it's a feature, not a bug. Some people expect to see a mirror image, I guess.
I wasn't able to find a control that changed that.

Usually that feature would be under the app/program you’re using. Skype should show it under camera/video settings iirc.

I had this issue with Windows 10 and now have it again with Windows 11. On W10 I used yawcam. On my new W11 Laptop I found
Webcamoid . Webcamoid has both installable and portable 32 and 64 bit downloads. I got the portable 64 bit. Double click the batch file to run. It is great for seeing how you look to other people. I must say I am much more handsome now that I have the W11 laptop with built in HD camera.
