My home computers backup to a Synology NAS that I recently installed. The server seems to spend an inordinate amount of time indexing files, and I just tried to turn that off by 'unchecking' the appropriate box in those files' Properties settings. Unfortunately, that setting doesn't stick and comes back each time I look at Properties again. Any advice, friends?
