Thanks for replay, but I do not need definition of winMD: everybody can easy get it in search for file winMD. What I really need is the path to this file if it is included in my build of WIN 11 or how to download it and location to place it after that I would be able to set it tin my project settings.
Strange, but up to now nobody was able to do it.

A Search of my Lenovo Ideapad from Oct. with the latest Build 26100.2605 with a Ryzen 5 CPU shows 647 files related to winMD in the Windows folder and it's subfolders. This was an inexpensive Notebook at $347 and I don't do Visual Studio, don't have Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 installed. Some of the files found are in C:\Windows\Lenovo folder as well as in System32 and WinSxS and their subfolders. A number of them also have AMD in their name.

What @garlin said.

I would also install the latest Win 11 SDK from MS.

Also, go into the Visual Studio installer, and install "C++ WinUI app development tools" to see if that helps put the MD file in the right place.

Also, check the dependencies of the program you are trying to write. Since it works properly in X86 mode, something is not specified in your environment for x64. Look at your x86 dependencies, they should be almost the same as your x64 dependencies. The pointer to the MD file should be in there. The last resort is to reinstall Visual Studio with ALL of the C++ options selected in the installer.

Now, it's been a while since I have used C++ in Visual Studio, so I might be wrong about this, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

I assume that you are using VS 2022? If not, it's time to upgrade.
