Windows 10, 11
I've got a Thomson "netbook", 10" with a Snapdragon processor, originally Windows 10, upgraded it to 11 with no issues.
When I started experiencing a software problem, I decided to format it.

I downloaded Windows 11 ARM from uup dump.

Burned the ISO using Rufus.

Disabled Secure Boot from the UEFI.

When I boot the key, a few seconds after selecting it from the boot menu (and seeing the manifacturer logo, so I know it's reading the key) I get a BSOD with the error code STORAGE MINIPORT ERROR.
To be sure it wasn't caused by a faulty ISO, I re-downloaded a slightly different version and tried it to no avail.

Note: the only port of this laptop is a USB C.
Note 2: I know I can technically reset the OS using the internal tools but that's not always possible.

What am I doing wrong?

It is displayed by Windows 11.
Blue Screen of Death (also known as a blue screen or BSoD) is an error screen displayed on a Windows computer system after a fatal system error, also known as a system crash: when the operating system reaches a condition where it can no longer operate safely. BSoDs can be caused by poorly written device drivers or malfunctioning hardware, such as faulty memory, power supply issues, overheating of components, or hardware running beyond its specification limits.

Hold on, when I'm not booting the key the system loads smoothly, no BSoD
I know the BSoD happens when the key is loading, as the key has a led that blinks when reading/writing
A possible cause is the key itself of course, but I was wondering if anyone ever had a similar error.
Is there a more appropriate section of this forum where I should repost this?

I get a BSOD with the error code STORAGE MINIPORT ERROR.
To be sure, you should get a parameter in the range 1 - 4 with this type of error . The value of the parameter will tell you whats the matter.

You can read all about the error here:
