Can't close task manager because of this annoying text preview, Has anyone fixed it? thx!

I agree with Edwin.
Don't hover your cursor over any column headers and no pop-up descriptions will appear & obscure your Close button.
And, if you do make any appear, move your cursor away from them and they'll disappear after a few seconds.

If the tooltip doesn't go away even after moving your mouse away just press Win key + D to show desktop and then select task manager from task bar again, this should destroy the tooltip.
