I know this question is subjective, but someone must have tried Verizon and then gone to another carrier.
I am using Verizon, and I pay about $130 a month for 2 lines however I can't get reception in my building or a parking lot parking lot.

Has anyone switched to T-Mobile from Verizon and had better connectivity with regular use and hotspot for tethering?
I am in a building with other people so am likely pushed aside to higher payors.
I have heard T- Mobile has come a long way using other company's poles.

I use GoogleFi which is T-mobile's backend and it works well everywhere I go. I'm on the unlimited plan which includes hotspot and international for $110 for 2 phones. You can also get 5GB/person hotspotting on their next tier down (unlimited US/CA/MX) for $80 for 2 phones

Personally I use Cricket. They have flat rates, no taxes, no public utilities charges, etc...

The work Staff in my building uses consumer cellular and they get connectivity wherever they go. I wouldn’t trust it.
Thank you all for your input. I appreciate it.
I think I’ll be looking into T-Mobile
My son uses all Google products and uses Google Fi as his carrier.
I do use hotspot a lot because I travel with the computer and I use the

I am on the west coast (Oregon). I had T-Mobile and the coverage on the west coast was horrible. I camp a lot on the coast and probably 7 out of 10 places where I had no T-Mobile signal, I now get AT&T coverage. For data while camping I connect my phone with a USB cable to a travel WiFi router. I was able to load the EasyTether driver on the travel router so that it uses my phone's standard, unlimited, no throttling data plan rather then my limited hotspot data.
