thanks for the welcome,Hi, daniway10, welcome to the ElevenForums
There aren’t any registry hacks or settings that I know of that would enable you to change the colour of the context menu.
Perhaps you might need to seek out a 3rd party theme app. I don’t have any experience with any.
thanks for the welcome,
what I feared for this reason I couldn't find a solution online![]()
thanks for the help, I had already tried Moo0 but it only changes the background not the highlighter colorI believe Stardock Windows Blinds is popular. I do use Stardock Apps but not Windows Blinds.
But if will set you back US$52.00
I have seen screenshots of coloured backgrounds in the context menus, also with text colour changes.

sorry what is SAB?I fixed it ( nice blue selected contextmenu-items ) after installing SAB !
When uninstalling SAB , they all went to grey again.............
StartAllBacksorry what is SAB?
I forgot to write that I had also tried this by activating only the context menu highlighter option because I already had a program that changed the start menu and taskbar but both conflicted, making the start menu go crazyStartAllBack
StartAllBack to fix all Windows 11 deal-breaking UI issues
StartAllBack restores taskbar, start menu, context menus, explorer, sanity, style and order!www.startallback.com
unfortunately I will have to find other alternatives that only affect the context menuIm using SAB only for the taskbar ..........perfect blue contextmenu-items .
Open Shell for my startmenu...........
They dont bite each other !
Create a DWORD named “ImmersiveContextMenu”HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\FlightedFeatures
It doesn't work. I already had this setting that replaced the new context menu with the classic context menu, however I solved it with ShellSee if Immersive will apply the blue highlight:
Regedit.exe
Create a DWORD named “ImmersiveContextMenu”
Set value to 0
Reboot
