You may tell me to find a chrome support board...if so I'll do that. But this involves Taskbar Settings, so maybe here's good.

In Taskbar Settings/Taskbar behaviors, I have Combine Taskbar Buttons and Hide Labels set to Always. For clarity: In Chrome, right now I have 3 windows open in Chrome. And it has a different icon for each inthe taskbar.

I want it to be where if I hover over 1, it shows a mini display of each and I select the one I want.

Maybe this never worked like that. I understand it is displaying the same icon again, if I launch a separate Chrome. Maybe I'm delirious, but I thought it would act as I listed jusst above.

Interestingly, each of the icons do show all the open windows, as I want it to. But I see that 3 times.

Maybe it's a bug.

Thoughts?

I have the same taskbar setting as you, and it properly displays one icon with 2 Chrome windows open. Are you using any UI tweaking programs? You might try disabling and re-enabling the taskbar setting to see if that fixes it.
