Chrome remote desktop sound is very strange, listen to this, but the video is ok

Ok, found a site says it is working, but is this sound working to you?
I get weird low guttural noises when playing from a remote PC with win10 to a win11 PC, and NO sound at all on android galaxy s8 Note
Sound plays perfectly on the remote PC itself, just weird unusable slow sound when using remote desktop to view remote pc.
I used my phone to take a video of it playing on win11 PC

Does windows remote desktop work better for sound? Seems awfully complex to configure, or is it? So have not tried it yet

well, I cant use microsoft remote desktop as it demands the admin password, I dont have any users on the win10 pc but myself. And trying what I thought is the user name and password, and many variations, it just kicks me out everytime. That is what I dislike about PIN number logins, passwords never work anymore. And in various places, depending on how you find it, my user name is either sdown, or sdowney717@xxxx.com
And that is not consistent either.

I think it could be that the win 10 PC I remote into, the sound output is dolby 5.1, and it comes from the HDMI cable plugged into the Nvidia card in that PC
I am not going to change it all around just to test the idea.
But it would be nice if the google remote desktop could handle 5.1 sound.
5.1 sound is more common today

I was having similar (though possibly different issue) where all sounds were super high-pitched noise.

Fixed by changing Windows sound settings from 8 channels to 2 channels
Windows 11 Settings -> System -> Sound -> Select device (Properties) -> Output settings -> Format
