Confirm copied files

Upgraded my computer with new parts... added a 4Tb NVMe drive to move my files from an older platter drive. Probably not the best way, but in explorer I just selected all files (CNTL-A/C) on the old drive and copied to the new drive. On hindsight now, a better method may have been a DOS Copy/V command to verify copied files, but.... oh well.
Is there a way I can validate/compare the files in explorer to make sure everything copied properly?

Did you Move or simply Copy the files? If Copied there may 2 helps, one is use File Explorer twice and in the two instances view the files in one panel against the other for size differences, tedious.

The other is to use File Explorer's Tools, Error checking to assure integrity of the files themselves. If finding an error in the Copy run it against the original.

if you still have access to the source files, just do a robocopy with a switch to skip the files if they already exist with same or newer dates in the properties. that way if you missed any, it'll copy those and skip what it doesn't need.

Copy the files (therefore in 2 locations)
Use AllDup (freeware) to compare the 2 sets of files. Use the settings to include names and size and extensions and contents
Select the exact duplicates to delete the identical dupes from the old folder

Those left over either didn't get copied across, or don't match the copied files, for whatever reason.
