Hi folks
Didn't need to install Chrome extensions etc . I Hate Chrome Browser anyway - I just use Edge (both stable and DEV versions work on Linux) or my preferred Firefox.
Just did the basic test on Copilot - Road trip in US from New Orleans to Boston -- Don't know or care if it's OK but just a P.O.C (Proof of contest) to see if it works.
Seemed to return a reasonable answer.

Note though you need to use an Ms account to sign in
The "Nay sayers" will say you can get this info by other means -- OK so you can but this was just a test - There's a zillion other things copilot can do e.g going to test with some python coding !!-- setting up a whole python development system on Windows is a bit of a pain - I've already got a good working system and experience with python on Linux.
Some will say - You've already got Windows why not run it on that -- good question. But sometimes I'm using a Linux laptop, and in any case I want to use a load of Python coding --I've already got a good development working system in Linux - which would be a real a pain to replicate that on Windows - even if I could - especially for generating screen (GUI) bits and data dictionaries etc.
On Windows the copilot integration with EXCEL is great too -- but that's another issue. Remember also that A.I is still in relative infancy --it's coming for sure and within a couple of years even will be far more sophisticated I suspect than most people can even imagine.
I'm testing Copilot on a Linux VM running on Windows Hyper-V (host system Windows 2025 Server 24H2)
