I needed to back up about 18 GB, so I thought that copying from C drive to E drive, both on the NVMe drive would be fastest. Wrongo! For a while, I was looking at a transfer rate of about 50 kb/sec. Huh? It was much, much faster copying to a USB drive. I can't explain this, so I'm posting this so that people above my pay grade can possible explain it. And the next average Joe like me who has this problem may get some answers.
