Disable notification that no security threats found

This shows up in Windows notifications every new day I use the computer: "Microsoft Defender Antivirus did not find any threats since your last summary."

It seems to be based off the latest Windows Security (or Windows Defender) scan.

I'm seeing nothing in Settings to disable it. It's a pointless notification that's just distracting and annoying. I already assume my system is safe until something indicates that it's not. Copilot gave useless advice.

(This shouldn't need to be stated but for those that it does: I'm looking for any way to disable it, not just something in Settings.)

I wasn't going to respond since it seems your mind is set about security but will say that any computer connected to the Internet does take the risk of damaging infections and Windows Security/Windows Defender/Microsoft Security is there to prevent such issues. If using third-party software such as Bitdefender, AVG, Avast, Norton, etc., there probably will be such notifications, just shows its job is being done.

This would be fair criticism if OP was complaining about being notified of threats that were handled automatically as I understand the value in knowing that something was detected/quarantined even if it didn't do any harm, but no one needs, wants, or asked for a notification that essentially says "I searched for threats without you knowing or asking, and you'll be happy to know I've found nothing".

It's great that it schedules and runs scans so seamlessly as to not be noticed at all, but Microsoft has decided that I need to see and hear this pop-up on a regular basis, and as a result I am now willing to disable other, potentially more important notifications if necessary to remove this distraction.

This is not a user mindset/behavior issue -- this is bad design.

Bruce's suggestion works, but given the option I would choose to ONLY disable notifications for scans where no threats were detected.

If you only disable the indicated one, what else does it block? It seems that you'd get notification if any threads are found and/or blocked.
