Does any member use Plex Media for streaming ?

I have been reading about Plex Media for streaming which is now available in UK ....does any member use it ? if so, what are the pro's and con's
Have seen some Youtube videos on how to setup which i am ok with...but actually using it the YouTube videos are vague .

I've been using Plex (paid version) for about 3 years and quite like it.

Pros
For me has been stable and rarely crashes.
Relatively easy to setup.
Can run with multiple devices\TV's.
Has good metadata functionality and editing.
Plays most common video files like mp4, mkv etc.
No ads
Software updated often.

Cons
Supplied content (TV shows and movies) isn't great as it is mostly older stuff and the image quality is mostly substandard.
GUI isn't particularly snazzy looking.

I have downloaded it but not installed it as some of the series i like ie Law and Order , NCIS , FBI and the other spin off's are beginning to move to streaming platforms .

Being a Star Trek fan ' Live Long and Prosper '
