Hey.
I have an old laptop with 6th generation CPU. It's so slow that I can't do elementary things like double click.
As is my second machine (i have another new) i think to do a clean install of Windows 7.
Does anyone know if and where I can download the ISO of Windows 7 ?

There are some sites which offer original windowses but none of them offers Windows 7.

I think you'll need to find someone trusted who still keeps original Windows 7 on their backup drive.

Have you looked? It's actually out there.
But first, as a PC tech, I have to ask.... have you considered maxing out the ram in your laptop, and also adding a SSD?
Small SSD's like 120GB are really pretty cheap these days. I have several of them running GREAT in some of my own laptops and they can GREATLY increase performance.

Thanks for response. It not works at least for Windows 7 x64 Pro. It says link is broken.

I downloaded it and i burn it at an USB stick with Rufus. Unfortunately it looks not work.
I have the same problem with that user :

That's sad, it's the only link from which I would consider downloading.

I have Win7 Enterprise on my drive downloaded from MS but sharing it would take ages considering my slow internet.

Do you mean ISO or just installed ? Cause if u have it just installed u couldn't take an iso from it.

I download Windows through Rufus. It is super easy to do. Click the Select button dropdown, and click Download. Select all your options - I think it has W7 but possibly only 8.1. Maybe an old version of rufus would do the trick?

2 ISO's x86 and x64, not installed, and I don't know if they aren't already corrupted because they're on my dying hard drive.

If you want you could share it via Google drive e.g. But if you read below the problem that i have (USB stick install) i fear it will be the same.

I have got a link to a piece of software - from a website that has been used on this forum before (majorgeeks.com). I am not going to put the link up here just incase - but find the software if you like. Just recently microsoft have taken down the direct links from their website unfortunately.

I dont know but as you can see , the other user has the same problem. If i have a double layer DVD (it is 5.3GB) i will try it from DVD.

I have a disc with W7 burned on. My current PC does not have a disc slot unfortunately, meaning I can't extract the iso from it..
