This was the English international language version also tried USA version same result. Tried burning twice and used a different pen drive, same result.

Had previously burnt an ISO a while ago and worked fine on same PC (HP AMD Radeon with built in Radeon graphics.

Am currently using an older Lenovo (intel chip and built in graphics) PC Win 11 was installed some time ago, now updated and no problem.

Could I try to install on this to see if it would work without actually going to far and actually installing/messing up the current install?
Would appreciate any help given. Thanks in advance.

My cut down version:

OPTION 1

  1. Download the Media Creation Tool and create a USB installation drive.
  2. Boot your computer from the drive.
  3. Wait until all the installation files have loaded.
  4. Select your preferences, then click Install Now.
  5. Once you see the error message, click Cancel.
  6. Remove the USB drive and plug it into a different port.
  7. Click Install Now. The installation process should continue from here.

OPTION 2

Have you got Windows 11 already installed? Therefore try not using bootable media and instead download an iso, mount the drive and then open setup.exe.
OPTION 3

It is possible that the SATA mode is causing the problem. This error specifically occurs when the machine is using IDE, but the installation media boots with SATA. With that said, changing the SATA to IDE in BIOS or UEFI can resolve the issue. Simply follow the instructions below:

  1. Boot into BIOS.
  2. Select any of the following: Advanced, Storage Configuration, Drive Configuration, or IDE Configuration.
  3. Go to SATA Mode. You can also go to Set SATA As or SATA Configuration.
  4. Change the option to IDE, Compatible, or ATA.
  5. Save the changes you’ve just made.
  6. Try installing Windows 10 again and check if the error has been resolved.
OPTION 4

Try using Rufus to create the bootable img. No iso needed, as rufus will make it for you.

The PC I was trying to install to is a HP it was running Linux hence the ISO needed. The HP has a NVME Drive.

The Lenovo I am currently using had win 11 already installed a while ago, It has a SSD installed.

Hope this helps to clarify things. Thank you both @cereberus and 007.
