Solved Edge Always Running in the Background

No matter what settings I change, Edge is always running in the background.

Startup Boost and Continue running background extensions and apps when Microsoft Edge is closed are disabled. I also disabled the "Allow Microsoft Edge to pre-launch at Windows startup, when the system is idle, and each time Microsoft Edge is closed" and "Allow Microsoft Edge to start and load the Start and New Tab page at Windows startup and each time Microsoft Edge is closed" policies.

I have followed everyone's suggestions, but still can't get to exit properly.

Ehh edge can't be removed. Chris Titus doesn't recommend removing bc so many stupid things in windows now needs it

Not looking to remove it. Just have it exit when I close the app. It is causing issues with Adguard.

This workaround will solve the problem.

When I want an app to quit, I mean I want an app to quit, and not have to rely on some fake slider in the Background Apps menu that doesn't do jack sh*t.

I laugh... Well bc most programs now just don't exit. Their always running if you look through the services/processes

Well that's part of the fun. Doing some workarounds to help defeat this bullsh*t, even if it's temporary.
